Palladium is a precious white metal that is part of the
Platinum Group
Metal family. It is naturally white from
the earth so it will never change in colour or tarnish.
A hypoallergenic metal, it is 12.6% harder and 40% lighter
than Platinum. It also does not need to be rhodium coated.
Palladium is similar in price per gram to 14ct white gold.
However it is much lighter in weight and so the unit cost
of a Palladium ring will be cheaper.
Palladium jewellery can be worked on and sized as with any
other precious metal.
A Palladium hallmark will be introduced in early 2008. Until
then, all our Palladium rings will carry a 'Pd950' stamp inside.
